Gluten Free Chocolate Brownies

Gluten free chocolate brownies

This recipe was kindly donated to us by Pilates with Pat MacRae.

 

Ingredients

4oz unsweetened dark chocolate melted with 1 tbsp coconut oil

1 avocado

1/4 cup unsalted almond butter

3 eggs

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 tbsp vanilla essence

1 tbsp almond flour (ground almond)

1 tbsp baking powder

1/2 tsp sea salt

Method

Melt chocolate and oil together

Mash/puree avocado in a bowl (use a food processor to ensure there are no lumps)

Beat all remaining ingredients together with the avocado until smooth.

Add the melted chocolate and mix together.

Pour mix into a lined 7 x 11″ tin and bake in oven at 170C for approx 20 mins or until a skewer comes out clean.
