Back to Sport after Groin Strain

A groin strain is one of the most common injuries in sports, especially football and rugby. The term describes a tear or rupture to any one of the adductor muscles resulting pain in the inner thigh or adductor muscles:

  • Adductor Brevis
  • Adductor Longus
  • Adductor Magnus
  • Gracilis
  • Pectineus

If these muscles are tensed too forcefully or too suddenly, they can get over-stretched or torn.

Groin injuries can range from very mild to very severe injuries that are completely debilitating.

In this exercise we are regaining strength and conditioning the muscles after groin strain and we use this as one of a series of groin strain rehab exercises
